Review
Speeditup Free 4.5 is a free program for Windows XP/Vista that will optimize your system speed.
This will be accomplished by applying techniques that will improve the read speed of your hard disk(s), your RAM usage and the registry settings.
The program updates itself to the latest version when you install it. Version 4.5 turned to 4.80 when we installed it.
When running the program, it will inform of some details of your system status, like installed and used RAM (physical and virtual), with a graph. You will be offered to optimize your system, your hard disk or your Internet connection using the different features of the program.
Selecting Speed Up Computer Now you will choose a complete optimization. The program will then apply every feature to speed up your computer. During the process, and when displaying its results, Speeditup will warn you NOT to perform further optimizations at least for an hour.
In our tests, the program claimed to have freed 71 Mb. of RAM, about 16% of the total RAM installed. |
